Our oilseeds are procured during the peak harvest season from trusted farmers and local cooperatives. Groundnuts (peanuts) are primarily sourced from West Africa, where dry climatic conditions help reduce aflatoxin risk. Sesame seeds, known for their oil yield and nutty flavor, are grown in both Africa and India.
Post-harvest, the seeds undergo:
- Sun-drying followed by mechanical drying to reduce moisture to below 8%
- Shelling (for groundnuts) using rotary or impact decorticators
- Cleaning and grading via gravity separators, magnetic destoners and sieves
- Color sorting to remove discolored or damaged seeds
